MyDomains.tech is a service of MyCompany.tech, LLC, which is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as when you register a domain, create an account, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, payment information, and domain registration details.

We also collect information automatically when you use our services, including log data, browser type, pages visited, and general location (country/region level).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve our services
• Process domain registrations and payments
• Send transactional emails (order confirmations, renewal notices)
• Respond to your support requests
• Comply with legal obligations, including ICANN WHOIS requirements

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. WHOIS Privacy

All domain registrations include free WHOIS privacy. Your personal contact details are replaced with our privacy proxy contact in the public WHOIS database. You may opt out of WHOIS privacy at any time from your client area.

4. Cookies and Analytics

This website sets no cookies of its own. Your choice from the consent banner is recorded in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies to measure how visitors use the site. If you decline, it is never loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of any page.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across other websites. Because it stores nothing on your device, it runs regardless of your cookie choice.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only as necessary to provide our services, for example with domain registries (to complete registrations), payment processors, and hosting infrastructure providers. All third parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.

This website itself relies on Vercel, which hosts it and provides the cookieless page-view analytics described above; Resend, which delivers messages sent through our contact form; and Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics. Messages you send through the contact form reach our support inbox and are not used for marketing.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as we have a reason to, and how long that is depends on what the data is for:

• Account records — for as long as your account is open, and for a limited period afterwards so we can handle billing queries and disputes.
• Domain registration records — for the life of the registration and for the period afterwards that ICANN and the relevant registry require registrars to keep them.
• Billing and tax records — for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law, which is longer than we would otherwise keep them.
• Support tickets and contact form messages — for as long as they are useful for handling your query and any follow-up, then deleted.

When a retention period ends, we delete the data or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you. You may ask us to delete your account at any time; where we are legally required to keep certain records, we will tell you which and why rather than delete them silently.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over the personal data we hold about you. We honour these regardless of whether the law where you are requires us to.

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to a particular use. You may also ask us to send your data to another provider in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent — as we do for analytics — you can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you did so. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you may ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, and who we shared it with; ask us to correct or delete it; and opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you are entitled to ask. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these, email support@mydomains.tech. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows — one month under UK and EU law, 45 days under California law — and will tell you if we need longer. We may need to verify your identity first, so that nobody else can make a request in your name.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or a notice on our site.
