Web hosting
Fast, reliable hosting for businesses that can't afford downtime.
Shared hosting for your first site, VPS for when you outgrow it. Straightforward plans with no surprises.
Full Root Access
Complete control over your server environment. Install any software, configure anything.
Scalable Resources
Start small and scale up as your traffic grows, with no migrations needed.
Isolated Environment
Your server resources are dedicated to you. No sharing with other customers.
Choice of OS
Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, or bring your own. We support the major Linux distributions.
VPS / Cloud
When shared hosting isn't enough, our VPS and Cloud servers give you full control over your environment, at a fraction of what a bare-metal server costs.
Perfect for businesses running custom applications, high-traffic WordPress sites, e-commerce stores, or anything that requires more control than a standard shared hosting plan.
See VPS PlansShould I choose shared hosting or a VPS?
Most small business sites belong on shared hosting, and stay there for years. A VPS is worth paying for when you need software a shared environment will not run, when traffic outgrows a shared plan, or when you want root access. If you are not sure, start shared: moving up later keeps your site and data in place.
| Shared hosting | VPS / Cloud | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Brochure sites, blogs, small stores | Custom apps, high traffic, larger stores |
| Server management | We handle updates and patching | You control the environment |
| Access | Control panel, no command line needed | Full root access |
| Resources | Shared with other sites on the server | Isolated and dedicated to you |
| Operating system | Managed for you | Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian or your own |
| Technical knowledge | None required | Comfortable with a Linux server |
Already have a website somewhere else?
You do not have to take your site offline to move it. Set it up here first, confirm it works, and switch your domain across only once you are happy. These guides cover the order to do it in.

- What is the difference between shared hosting and a VPS?
- On shared hosting your site runs alongside other sites on one server, and we handle the server itself: updates, security patching and configuration. On a VPS you get an isolated slice of a server with full root access, so you choose the operating system and install whatever you like. Shared hosting suits most brochure sites, blogs and small stores. A VPS suits custom applications, heavy traffic, or anything needing software a shared environment will not run.
- Can I move my existing website to MyDomains.tech?
- Yes. You can move a site from another host without taking it offline: set the new site up here first, check it works, and only then point your domain across. Our step-by-step guide walks through the whole sequence, including what to move first and when to switch DNS.
- Is an SSL certificate included with hosting?
- Yes. Every hosting plan includes a free SSL certificate, configured automatically, so your site serves over HTTPS from the start. Paid certificates are for sites hosted elsewhere, for covering every subdomain at once, or for showing your verified business name in the certificate.
- Can I install WordPress?
- Yes. Every plan includes 1-click application installs covering WordPress, Joomla and Drupal, so you do not need to upload files or create a database by hand. You can also install manually if you prefer.
- Do I have to buy my domain from you to use your hosting?
- No. Hosting and domain registration are separate, and you can point a domain registered anywhere at a hosting plan here by updating its DNS or nameservers. Keeping both in one account is simpler to manage and renew, but it is not required.
- What happens if I outgrow my plan?
- You can move up a plan from your client area, and from shared hosting to a VPS when you need the extra control. Upgrading keeps your existing site and data in place rather than starting over.
- Are backups included?
- Daily backups are included on the Business and Pro shared hosting plans. Keeping your own independent copy is still worth doing on any plan, because a backup held only by your host is a single point of failure.
